The morning kicked off with a visit to Wadi el-Sebua, starting at the temple dedicated to Amun, followed by a brief walk to the temples of Dakka and Maharraka.

Our first taste of the hot winter afternoon sun in Upper Egypt came in the afternoon as we took another short boat trip, this time to visit the Amada Temple, the oldest of the temples of Lake Nasser, along with the Temple of Derr and the rock tomb of Penout.

The evening was rounded off with the crew putting on a Nubian show.
