After our failed visit to Kom Ombo, we cruised south to Aswan, and started the next day with a trip to the two Aswan dams.

That was followed by a visit to the temple of Philae.

In the afternoon, we had a relaxed Felucca ride on the Nile (again, running aground on the silt in the low water, but this time the crew freed us with nothing more than a pole and some wet feet).

The evening's entertainment was provided by a Whirling Dervish followed by a Belly Dancer. Sadly the latter in particular wasn't very good.
